Certificate Renewal streamlines the TLS certificate renewal process by automatically creating an issue or service request when the certificate's expiration date approaches, ensuring your team is notified and able to renew the certificate in time.
For publicly accessible endpoints, such as websites on the Internet, certificate details are obtained automatically. These endpoints are also periodically checked to see if a renewal has taken place, for example, before creating an issue for manual renewal.
Each project in Jira Software or Jira Service Management can manage it's TLS certificates and settings independently.
For Jira Service Management we offer Organisations and Affected Services as additional certificate attributes.
Advanced settings
Our advanced settings allow you to tailor the issue creation process to suit your needs. We offer many variables to populate Jira fields, as well as the ability to add simple custom fields.
Automation
The application automatically creates an issue or service request when a certificate's expiration date approaches, ensuring your project team rotates the certificate before it expires.
